Morrisons sells sausage rolls half price at 50p
The Bradford-based grocer will sell them for 50p each, which it said was close to half the price of big-name competitors.
The firm said that since the high-street chains shut their doors due to the pandemic, sausage roll fans have been unable to get their hands on a freshly baked version of the much-loved snack, but Morrisons‘ bakers are bringing it back at a bargain price.

To mark the opening of the pie shop counters, Morrisons will be offering its sausage rolls - as well as cheese and onion rolls - for 50p until the end of the month.
Freshly baked on pie shop counters every day by Morrisons Market Street bakers, Morrisons said its sausage rolls are made with seasoned pork meat and wrapped in a crisp, golden flaky pastry.
Mark Pearson, buying manager at Morrisons, said: “We know sausage rolls hold a place in our hearts that not much else can fill, so we’re pleased to bring ours back at this bargain price.”
