Lawnswood School, Brigshaw High School and Garforth Academy have all donated personal protective equipment (PPE) to Leeds GPs to help in the fight against coronavirus.
Jill Harrison-White, 48, works as an A&E nurse practitioner and called for urgent help from other schools and local businesses.

"It is widely known that PPE is in short supply.
"Something simple that schools could be supplying to our NHS locally and nationally right now is science goggles - currently unused and sat in empty classrooms.
"You would be helping the NHS right now in our hour of need.
"Please ask schools to volunteer, donating them to their nearest hospital, where all staff need adequate PPE."

A snapshot survey of almost 2,000 medics showed that large numbers of doctors are still expected to care for Covid-19 patients with little or no PPE.
Some 65% said they did not have access to eye protection and Jill praised the Leeds schools which have already donated vital equipment.
Garforth Academy donated face shields, goggles and face masks to Garforth Medical Practice last week.

Louise Hughes, Advanced Nurse Practitioner at Garforth Medical Practice, said in a video message to patients: "PPE is vital to our role and we wouldn't be able to do our jobs without it.
"Thank you very much to Garforth Academy, we're really grateful. It allows us to do our job, as it protects us and protects patients.
"Also a shout out to Brigshaw High School who have kindly donated a load of gloves and aprons today."
