A group of young people rose to the challenge set by a Leeds charity and piled up pounds to boost its vital work.

The six volunteers, aged six to 14, signed up to the Emmaus Big Marathon Month virtual fundraiser at the start of June, then went on to raise £1,200.

Their challenge was to walk, run or cycle the distance of a marathon throughout the month while raising funds for the charity
