A Seacroft pervert who fantasised about raping women, brutally attacked a prostitute.
A Leeds Crown Court judge jailed Terence Hall, 42, indefinitely after telling him he was a danger to any female of any age.

A court heard prostitutes working in the Swinegate area of Leeds near the Malmaison hotel knew Hall, who would stand in phone boxes watching them while performing indecent acts on himself.

The attack happened in the early hours one morning in January last year after Hall started pestering a prostitute who told him to go away and pushed him in the chest.

Prosecutor Caroline Wigin said the woman became frightened and went to a phonebox and dialled 999.

Hall, of Inglewood Place, Seacroft, grabbed the receiver and as the woman shouted and screamed he pulled her outside and threw her on the floor.

The woman ran off but Hall followed her to some wasteland where he again threw her to the ground and grabbed her between the legs. Three young men returning from a night out heard her screams and came to her aid.

The court heard Hall, who has been profoundly deaf since birth has a string of convictions including indecent exposure, sex assault and attempted rape.

Judge Paul Hoffman handed him an indeterminate sentence for the public protection with a minimum of two years.

The judge told Hall he will only be released when he is no longer deemed a danger to women.
Hall had admitted sexual assault.

Judge Hoffman praised the men who came to the woman's aid and said they should each receive £250 of public cash for their efforts.
