Boots Crown Point Leeds robbery: Masked men armed with crowbar smash into perfume display leaving staff terrified

Suspects left staff terrified as they targeted the Crown Point Retail Park store in Junction Street on Tuesday.
The robbery happened between 7.26pm and 7.35pm.
Four masked men, wearing tracksuits, walked into the store and smashed the fragrance display cabinets with a crowbar.

Hide AdThey then grabbed bottles of perfume before fleeing in a red Vauxhall Grandland and a grey BMW car which were waiting outside.
Two further suspects are believed to have been in the cars.
West Yorkshire Police said that although staff were left distressed by the ordeal, nobody was injured during the robbery.
Officers are searching for the six suspects and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the attack.
Detective Inspector Guy Shackleton of Leeds CID, said: “We are investigating this robbery which would clearly have been a frightening and upsetting experience for staff members inside, and are appealing for witnesses.

Hide Ad“We know that up to six suspects were involved in this offence having arrived at the scene in a ‘grew BMW and red Vauxhall Grandland’ and would also like to speak to anyone who saw these cars leaving the retail park.
