Teenagers' mobiles stolen in '˜frightening' Birstall robbery
Kirklees District CID would like to speak to anyone who witnessed or has information about the robbery which took place in the early hours of Sunday. Three 16-year-old boys were approached by two men in their 20s, while they were waiting for a taxi in Birstall, at around 1.30am.
One of the men asked for a cigarette and then threatened the teenagers with a knife and demanded their phones. The other man also produced a knife and threatened them.

Hide AdOne of the suspects was white, 5ft 9ins to 6ft tall and muscular with a round stomach. He was wearing a grey hooded top with the hood up, a black scarf covering his face and dark coloured jogging bottoms.
The other was white, 6ft tall, then and wearing a dark hooded top with the hood up, a black scarf covering his face and black shorts.
DC Andy Clayton of Huddersfield CID, said: “Enquiries are ongoing into this robbery which was clearly a very frightening experience for these three teenagers.”
