Leeds Met Office forecast: Here's when more snow is on the way as Leeds hit by flurries in April

After a sunny few days in Leeds temperatures have plummeted on Saturday with heavy snow showers in some parts of the city, despite no snow forecast by the Met Office.

Leeds residents were surprised to see a flurry of snow outside their windows following a bright start to the morning.

One resident tweeted: "The weather here in Leeds is so random, looked out of my window and there's literally loads of snow fall right now, it was quite sunny not long ago."
