Mr Cartwright said: "The club is also on the lookout for enthusastic adults to help out, from coaching & refereeing to transport, as well as the really important jobs like putting the nets up!"

www.whinmoorjuniors.co.ukThe club will lead a nomadic existence this season as their pitch is being dug up to improve the drainage, meaning that some of the teams won't be able to play at their Skelton Woods ground on Naburn Approach, and will be playing at places such as Temple Newsam, Cross Gates and Roundhay Park.
