Raphinha was forced off injured in the 89th minute of last weekend's 2-1 victory at Manchester City following a hefty challenge from Fernandinho who was only booked. Raphinha then posted a photograph of his left thigh bandaged on his Instagram story and Whites head coach Bielsa provided an update as to the winger's condition at his Thursday afternoon press conference. Bielsa said: "Raphinha is recovering from a knock that he picked up in the game against City. And his evolution we will see in the next couple of days." Bielsa also provided updates on Rodrigo who missed the clash at City following a setback and also Adam Forshaw who came through 60 minutes of a training match for the under-23s against York City last weekend. Forshaw has been out for over 18 months with a hip problem but is now set to play for United's under-23s at Aston Villa on Friday night. "It went well for Forshaw in the game on Saturday and tomorrow he will be playing for the under 23s," said Bielsa. "In the game on Saturday he played more than one half and tomorrow the idea is that he can play a little bit more, not to complete the 90 minutes but some minutes."
