Leeds United striker Ryan Edmondson has returned to the club just two weeks on from making the switch to Aberdeen on loan.

The 19-year-old had made a move north of the border until January in a bid for first team football with the Scottish Premiership outfit.

Edmondson, though, featured just once for the Dons as he made a 25-minute cameo appearance against Rangers before picking up an ankle injury in training.

The forward will now undergo treatment with his parent club after scans revealed he would be sidelined for the foreseeable future.
