United dealt a blow to Swansea's Championship play-offs hopes with Sunday's last-gasp 1-0 victory at the Liberty Stadium in which former Swans star Pablo Hernandez bagged an 89th-minute winner.
The defeat left Cooper's side seventh, one point behind Welsh rivals Cardiff City, with Hernandez's strike putting Leeds three points clear at the top of the division and re-establishing a six-point cushion in the division's automatic promotion spots with three games left.

Cooper admitted any game against the Whites was now guaranteed to be a tough assignment but the Swans boss said he was unsure about how Leeds would fare in the Premier League - or if promotion would be swiftly wrapped up before the end of the campaign.
Asked if he expected Leeds to now seal promotion quickly and how the Whites might fare in the Premier League, Cooper said: "I haven't really thought about it to be honest.
"They're obviously a good team, they have a clear way of playing.

"Whether it's enough to get them out of this league and then compete in the Premier League, I'm not too sure, you are better asking the Leeds staff rather than me.
"All I know is when you play them now it's a really tough game .
"We are down at the moment but it was a good game.
"We were out there and trying to win and obviously we have come on the wrong side of it.
Cooper added: "We focus on ourselves to be honest.

"Our focus is just on ourselves."
