Drighlington did themselves no favours at Toller, who sit just two places above the second-bottom side in the Supreme division.

Drig’ lost Joseph Banks to a red card; then lost the game 5-1.

Joao Viegas scored Drighlington’s consolation goal, while Andrew McHugh hit a hat-trick for the hosts with Luke Hepton and Talent Ndlovu also on target.

Second-placed Farsley Celtic Juniors held sway, 3-1, at Alwoodley.

Goals from Craig Farrand, Danny Lyons and Jake Thompson sealed the deal for Farsley, while Stephen Dyer netted for the hosts.

Sixth-placed Athletico were held to a 1-1 draw by lower-placed visitors Ryburn United thanks to an Owen Wilkinson goal. Andrew Crossland (2) and Alistair Lewis steered travellers Leeds City to a 3-2 victory at Calverley United.

Mid-table Route One Rovers turned the tables on fourth-placed Littletown.

Scott Lightowler (2) and Thomas Ramsden netted for the visitors but the hosts were in free-scoring mood and eventually won 6-3 thanks to goals from Shoaib Iqbal, Awais Khan, Zak Khan, Anees Younis (2) and Sinmi Oyebanji.

Stanley United, meanwhile, came from three goals down at half-time to give visitors Horsforth St Margarets a mighty scare before the table toppers edged the contest 4-3.
