Former Leeds Rhinos forward Brad Singleton has signed for Wigan Warriors on a three-year deal.

Former Leeds Rhinos forward Brad Singleton has signed for Wigan Warriors on a three-year deal.

Singleton, 27, left Rhinos at the end of last season to join Toronto Wolfpack.

He became a free agent when they announced they would not be completing this year's Betfred Super League campaign.

Singleton played 78 games for Leeds and was part of their treble-winning side five years ago, when he was a Wembley try scorer and played against Wigan in the Grand Final.

He also played in Leeds' 2017Old Trafford win over Castleford Tigers.

Singleton, who also had short loan spells at Dewsbury Rams, Wakefield Trinity and Featherstone Rovers and on dual registration at Hunslet, made only four appearances for Toronto.

"Things didn’t go as planned with Toronto so there was a case where I needed to look for another club and with Wigan interested, I was ready to sign.

“I’ve been around Super League for quite a long time now and I’ve always envied the way this camp played rugby. They’ve got massive history and the badge weighs more with responsibility.

“There are performances expected from a certain type of Wigan player and I hope I can do that justice.

“I’m champing at the bit and I’m ready to give my all for this club. My main aim is to compliment this group and earn the respect of the lads.”
