Stand-off Rob Lui is 11 weeks into his recovery from a pre-season quad muscle tear and could be back in the mix by the end of this month.
Rhinos’ fourth specialist half-back, Callum McLelland, is now in training after surgery on a groin injury and the club say he hopes to be back on the field in the “near future”.

Hide AdCentre Harry Newman is due to begin contact training in around three weeks’ time and in line for selection next month, after suffering a badly broken leg in a game against Hull KR last September.
Rhinos say there is no timescale for centre/second-rower Alex Sutcliffe’s comeback from a knee injury picked up two weeks ago and back-rower Cameron Smith and full-back Jack Walker remain on the long-term casualty list.
Smith is facing another five weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring tendon injury picked up last month.
Walker, who was ruled out of Leeds’ 2021 campaign after suffering a recurrence of a foot injury in pre-season, had surgery seven weeks ago and is still in a protective boot.
