A school worker left a string of four-letter abuse on the mobile phone of a pupil's father.

"I couldn't believe what I was hearing," said Mr Day, who lives near the school. "You don't expect to have that on your phone from anyone, especially someone who works in a school.
"Dale has been really upset by it and he's wondering if this is how the staff talk about him behind his back."
The worker left the rant by mistake, not realising the voicemail on the mobile phone was recording her call.
During the message she swears four times.
A member of staff at DYCA, which opened in September 2006 as the city's
first state-funded independent school, had called Mr Day on his mobile because 13-year-old Dale had not turned up for lessons.
Mr Day said he did not answer because he had taken Dale to the dentist.
He then took his son to school and later that afternoon realised he had a voicemail.
"I went straight down to the school. They were shocked when they heard it You can't let people get away with that and I think she should be disciplined."
Alan Bolton, a senior manager at DYCA, said action had been taken and an apology offered.
"The member of staff has been spoken to," he told the YEP. "She has been disciplined and given management advice.
"We don't think that it is appropriate for our staff to talk in this way about pupils, or their parents, whatever the circumstances.
"This was a mistake and the member of staff had no idea that the phone was still running.
"The DYCA has formally apologised to Mr Day and offered to put that apology in writing, although he declined a letter of apology because he said he was satisfied with what had already been done."
